1. Purpose

TruckSpy’s Data Retention Policy provides for a systematic retention and destruction of Customer data stored electronically. Customer data is accumulated through the usage of TruckSpy’s Hosted Software Platform. This policy is designed to assist with compliance with Federal and State Laws and regulations.

2. Record Retention

TruckSpy follows the record retention procedures outlined below:

GPS Breadcrumbs, Location Dwell Events, Driver and Vehicle Utilization Events 1 Year
Mileage Reports 5 Years
Minimum Wage Reports 3 Years
Electronic Logging Device Logs, Violations, and Unassigned Driving Time 6 months
Bookings, Trips and Dispatches 6 months
Notification History 6 months
Driver Messages 6 months
Drive Alerts / Drive Camera Videos Optional
Vehicle Inspections 1 year
Maintenance Issues and Work Orders 1 year
Driver, Device and Vehicle Events 30 days
Fuel Transactions 5 years

3. Deletion Method

Once the relevant retention period has run, TruckSpy will perform daily, automated deletion of records.

4. Modifications to the Data Retention Policy

TruckSpy may at its sole discretion modify this policy without notice to Customer.
